RSL DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE 2026Welcome to the Living & Dining Room at Foundry Manor
Inspired by the wooded 25 acres of Foundry Manor, U-Fab Interiors designers Diana Vicenti, Amy Spearing, and Will Chambers set out to bring the natural landscape inside, envisioning an elegant yet comfortable space that would evoke a sense of rich history.
Thibaut’s Albero fabric, with its whimsical pattern of trees and foliage, was the starting point for this lush, enveloping space, leading to a full color drench in Benjamin Moore’s rich Cedar Path. Applied to the ceiling, metallic Bastien wallpaper by Fabricut draws light back down into the room throughout the day, while Thibaut’s graphic Hinton print in the bookcases nods to the extraordinary dentil crown molding.
As grand as it is, the Living and Dining Room was always meant to feel like the heart of the home: inviting, comfortable, and full of story. An eclectic mix of modern and vintage furniture and accessories gives the space a curated, collected quality, reflecting the deeply collaborative nature of the designers' approach. From the art on the walls, donated by the designers and their friends, to the plate wall composed of cherished heirloom pieces, to the deer bust crafted by Diana from natural objects gathered on the Foundry Manor grounds, the room tells a story that is as personal as it is beautiful.
The Living & Dining Room is just one of more than 20 extraordinary spaces waiting to be discovered at Foundry Manor. Join us April 14 through May 10 and see it all for yourself.
Room Highlights
The Drapery: Thibaut’s Albero
Every great room has a starting point, and for the Living & Dining Room at Foundry Manor, it was this fabric. Thibaut's Albero is a richly colored botanical print featuring whimsical trees and foliage in a palette of greens and peach, a direct echo of the wooded 25 acres surrounding the property. It was, as the team describes it, the easiest decision in the room, and the one that set every other decision in motion. The panels are fabricated with flanges in Fabricut's Linden and returns in Fabricut's Pyla in Cameo, finished with a butterfly pleat. Fabricated by U-Fab Interiors.
The Sofas: Barrington Curved Sofas by CR Laine
Anchoring the living area are a pair of CR Laine Barrington curved sofas, upholstered in Vision Nootka in Tahini. Their generous scale and graceful curved form make them as inviting as they are elegant, offering seating that encourages guests to settle in and stay a while. A perfect example of the team's commitment to pieces that are both beautiful and purposeful.
The Swivel Chairs: Josh by CR Laine
CR Laine’s Josh swivel chairs, upholstered in Vision Oscoda in Sorbet with nailhead trim, bring a note of warmth and personality to the space. Their swivel function makes them as practical as they are stylish, ideal for a room designed for easy conversation and effortless flow. The Sorbet upholstery adds a pop of color that plays beautifully against the room's lush green backdrop.
The Ceiling: Fabricut Bastien Wallpaper
Look up! One of the most striking decisions in the Living & Dining Room is overhead. Fabricut's Bastien wallpaper in Burnished is applied to the ceiling, where its metallic surface catches and reflects light back down into the space throughout the day. In a room color drenched in deep green, the ceiling adds luminosity and lift, ensuring the space feels alive and dynamic from every angle.
The Dining Chairs
Modern History’s Carson Side Chairs, painted in Sherwin Williams’ Breaktime, were reupholstered in-house in a vibrant multicolored woven fabric. The result is a dining chair that looks and feels fresh and collected, adding a playful note of color and pattern to the room while nodding to the eclectic mix that defines the space.
The Plate Wall
One of the most personal touches in the room, the plate wall is composed of heirloom pieces belonging to the designers themselves, including Will Chambers' mother's china, displayed openly for perhaps the first time. Alongside it, the dining table is thoughtfully set with a collected mix of dishes and glassware. The patterns are elegant and timeless, feeling right at home in a room designed to honor its guests. Together, the pieces tell a story of care, memory, and the beauty of objects that have been loved over time.
Diana's Found-Object Deer Bust
Among the room's most conversation-worthy pieces is a deer bust conceived and handcrafted entirely by Diana Vicenti using natural objects gathered on the Foundry Manor grounds. Branches, moss, and other found materials come together in a sculptural work that is entirely one of a kind. This special piece roots the room directly in its setting and speaks to Diana's background as a practicing fiber artist with a deep connection to the natural world.
Amy's Refurbished Bar
A vintage bar hutch, hand painted and given new life by Amy Spearing, brings both function and character to the Living & Dining Room. The back of the hutch is lined with vintage Schumacher flamestitch wallpaper, adding a layer of pattern and warmth that makes the piece feel collected and intentional. It is a perfect example of the team's approach: mixing the rustic with the refined, and finding beauty in objects that carry a history.
