We look forward to High Point Market every season, and the Spring 2025 Market did not disappoint! The interior design world is leaning into comfort, creativity, and customization, and we’re all in. Rowe’s Spring 2025 showroom featured a bold, saturated palette that immediately drew visitors in, with deep hues and layered patterns for maximum impact. The space was rich with texture, and the overall feel was curated and collected.

Saturated Palettes

Color made a strong statement at Market, and it was all about saturated, earthy hues with a rich, lived-in feel. Think ochre, terracotta, cocoa brown and rich shades of greens and blues, all layered in tonal palettes or contrasted with neutrals for balance. These warm, grounded tones feel both nostalgic and fresh, offering a soulful alternative to stark whites and grays. The result is spaces that feel warm, inviting and deeply connected to the natural world, while still feeling current and curated.

Botanical Motifs

Florals are blooming again, but with a collected, nostalgic twist. From vintage-inspired block prints to elaborate botanical illustrations, nature-themed patterns brought a sense of warmth and familiarity to showrooms this season. We saw floral motifs on everything from upholstery and wallpaper and drapery to decorative accents, light fixtures, and more, often layered into spaces that felt lovingly curated over time. Whether used boldly or as a soft accent, botanical patterns add charm, depth and a romantic sentiment that never goes out of style.

Curves

Curves are everywhere this season, and we’re not just talking about rounded furniture. From soft scalloped trims and rounded arches to organically shaped hardware and casegoods, curved lines are showing up across every category. These fluid forms soften the visual landscape of a room, bringing ease and elegance to even the most structured spaces. Whether subtle or statement-making, these curved silhouettes help create rooms that feel more relaxed, more inviting, and more personal.

Bold Patterns

Designers are continuing to lean into expressive, personality-packed spaces. At Market, we saw fearless combinations of florals, plaids, graphic prints and global-inspired motifs, all layered with intention. Whether it’s dramatic wallpaper or a pair of patterned pillows, bold pattern mixing is back and better than ever. The key? Confident and thoughtful placement. It’s about curating patterns that tell a story and reflect the spirit of the home.

Elevated Details: Pleats, Ruffles & Trim

Once again, tailored touches are taking center stage. Pleated skirts, crisp ruffles, contrast welts, and decorative trims add dimension and character to upholstery and soft goods. These elements bring a sense of craftsmanship and customization that we love, especially when paired with luxe fabrics or playful prints. Whether you’re designing a custom piece or updating an existing one, these over-the-top embellishments are an easy way to elevate the everyday. It’s all about making every piece feel intentional, finished, and one-of-a-kind.

Luxe Layers & Tactile Textures

Texture continues to dominate the design conversation, and this Market confirmed that layering is key. We saw cozy bouclé, velvet, new variations on mohair, and leather, all used in thoughtful, luxurious ways. These tactile materials bring depth and dimension to a space, inviting you to slow down and engage with your environment, one layer at a time.

Game Tables = Elevated Nostalgia

One of the most charming surprises this Market? The return of game tables, reimagined for modern living. Think beautifully crafted Mahjong tables, convertible card tables, and multi-functional designs that are as stylish as they are fun. They’re perfect for dens, libraries, and flex spaces where form meets function. Plus, they’re a great way to create intentional moments of connection at home.

Nature-Inspired Materials

Organic textures continue to trend, but this season they’ve taken on a more elevated, curated feel. From cane and rattan to burl wood, marble and hair-on-hide, natural materials were used in ways that felt refined rather than rustic. These elements add warmth, character and an organic aesthetic to interior spaces, bringing nature indoors in a way that’s elevated, not expected. Whether in accent chairs, casegoods, or decorative accessories, these materials ground a space and bring the natural world in.
