Our next home tour comes from a beautiful fan Condo. Greeted by the welcoming homeowners and their two lovely kitties I felt right at home. Blaine McDermott the interior designer of MCD Interior Architecture and Design warmed up Barbara and George’s space with touches tangerine and earthy copper tones.
This dining area is found to the right of the foyer, the large artwork with copper accents grounds the space. A furry addition can be spotted if you look hard.
A wall of windows looking out onto the historic Stuart Avenue is found in the living space. A pair of gorgeous wing chairs are reupholstered in a natural textured fabric while neutral drapes are framed with pops of a warm tangerine striped banding. Kitty number two can be spotted in this shot!
Wyndi & John of Carnes Home Builders renovated the amazing kitchen and baths. The countertops in their kitchen are incredible.
It’s hard to say what my favorite part of this space would be. I love how they took a long space, optimized the floor plan and warmed it up with a wall of window treatments. The open floor plan is great for entertaining and the furnishings and accents all coordinate seamlessly.
The master bedroom blends rich blues and complimentary oranges harmoniously. The mix of patterns and textures is a testimony to using pattern to your advantage.
The custom drapes make a big statement while warming up the blue space and pulling from accents in the rug and duvet.
Thank you so much to Barbara and George for allowing us to photograph their stunning space.
