While doing a delivery, our production manager, Dustin noticed a beautiful home that would be perfect for a U-Fab home tour. Liz graciously opened her gorgeous wooden craftsman door to us, and I suddenly felt like I was shooting for Better Homes & Gardens or House Beautiful. This home was an absolute stunner, and the best part is it’s within city limits so it’s still very close to all those things we love about Richmond. I couldn’t dream of a more perfect place to call home.
On the front steps, I was greeted by a couple adorable U-Fab pillows hanging out on some gorgeous solid wood lounge chairs.
Immediately after walking in, there is a gorgeous sitting room to your left, filled with soft pinks and blues.
Liz admitted a lot of the furniture in this room was inherited, but I think it all worked together effortlessly, especially with those gorgeous abstract pink/blue paintings in the background.
A couple slipper chairs are looking u-fabulous with some fun pillows on them.
I really think the pillows make this room feel so complete and cozy, don’t you agree?
The dining room is a work in progress, after all Liz and family just moved into this home less than 6 months ago. We can’t wait to see it with some drapes and/or funky wall paper!
A sweet spot to take off your shoes, and would you look at the molding on those walls? The character!
These cozy chairs were re-upholstered by our talented craftsman, we love how neutral they are with the fun pillows that pop off of them.
Another view of the chair that is begging to be curled up in with a magazine and a cup of tea.
The fabric mixture, furniture and placement was classic and gorgeous.
A view into their jaw-dropping kitchen.
Please excuse me if I drool a little bit. This one’s going on the pinterest board.
A gorgeous farmhouse table with heavy upholstered chairs completes the kitchen of my dreams.
Just one more photo to remember for good measure.
And one more of the brilliant living room.
Up to her daughter’s room, and having previously worked at PoshTots I felt like I was on set of one of our photoshoots.
How darling is this space?
And this little rocker in a fun pink fabric, so cute!
And did you see the life size kangaroo! SQUEEL!
Happy dreams are made in this bed.
Okay, my inner child is released.
Onward, to the guest room! Love the playful patterns in this serene space.
Complete with two over-sized white lacquer mirrors.
Her son’s room was another one pulled right of the pages of a Pottery Barn Magazine. How sweet is this?
My favorite detail, a lamp filled with collected toys from Mom & Dad’s childhood.
Where’s the bubbly, and the bubbles?
And a gorgeous light-filled master, with a deck attached.
Oh hello perfect landscaping, garage and separate playroom!
And isn’t this cubby something worthy of pinterest? I want one!
Wrapping up on the back deck, wait does it have to end? Don’t you feel inspired?
Thank you so much again to Liz for opening her home to us. I know it’s one I will have a hard time forgetting!
