Katy invited us into her Charlottesville home to be our second ever U-Fab home tour. And we are so glad she did. Her home was a bright and welcoming space situated on a private corner lot with light pouring in the windows highlighting her home’s beauty and charm.
When we entered, this gorgeous bench caught our eye. Just the spot where I’d like to slip my shoes off, and stay a while.
There was also a gorgeous chest in the foyer. I love a dresser in an unconventional spot. And isn’t the detail on her stairs just gorgeous?
This cute little pear caught my eye. It was framed with some delicate artwork and I thought it was too cute to pass by.
Enter into the gorgeous living room highlighted by gold, creams and several shades of blue that work together for a cohesive look.
Her dining room was our next stop. It was hard to capture how gorgeous this room really is since the light was competing with my camera lens.
I am in love with our Tao fabric and even more-so after seeing it in drapery form. Aren’t these stunning?
Here’s another view of the room, it was a snowy morning and isn’t her view gorgeous?
Katy’s Office looked like the sort of place I would get some serious work done in. Built in shelves, and a stylish cozy spot to kick up your feet and take a break, when needed.
Her kitchen offered a generous island greeted with fun barstools and opened into a two story family room, perfect for entertaining.
Enter into Katy’s teenage daughter, Brooke’s room. In the process of a big makeover. This girl is bound to take after her mother in terms of fantastic style and already has very mature taste for such a young lady.
She created this design board as inspiration. I love the research and detail that went into it. It seems like she’s also making her dream a reality.
Isn’t her little nook so cute? It was my favorite spot in the house. I can totally imagine some fun slumber parties happening in this room.
Hello Rocki! This fur-baby had a big personality and followed us into every room of the house.
This bathroom was really polished. And I love the shade of green they chose.
A guest room this cute would certainly make it hard to leave!
That concludes our tour. Thank you so much for allowing us in Katy! We love your space and are so excited to share it with the world.
