Our next U-Fabulous home tour is brought to you by Mindy a co-founder, of Abundance Organizing, a local company established in 2010 that specializes in organizing your home, move or business. We asked for volunteers to feature their homes, and Mindy reached out to us, and we are so glad she did! Her beautiful brick split level is so artistic, eclectic and ORGANIZED! No clutter here folks, on with the tour!
The curb appeal of this home let me know I was in for a treat. It looks so welcoming and warm right when you pull up.
Entering in the foyer is another welcome site. Beautiful wood floors, art in every direction, and an inviting place to put on your shoes.
The details on this chair are pretty spot on, if we do say so ourselves.
Enter into the formal living room, which feels anything but formal. It looks so effortless and comfortable. From the plush rug, to the bright pillows, this space begs me to take off my shoes grab a magazine and get comfortable.
A pair of over-sized armchairs are instantly adorable with these birdy pillows. Mindy tells us all the sewing work for pillows, draperies and cushions come from local seamstress, Dale Burrell. Everything was finished beautifully.
I loved this little mail spot tucked in the corner, she places her mail in that awesome deep bowl I believe I recognize from a local artisan at the South of the James Farmers Market. Mindy says even organizers need a spot to put the mail!
This gorgeous orchid, perfectly matches Mindy’s watercolor pillows on the sofa.
Mindy’s husband pulled this Lion’s head from the rubble of a downtown Richmond building’s demolition. What a fun find!
I think I know what Mindy’s Favorite color is, I love a person who has no fear of Red!
This dining room is so rich, it makes my appetite grow. Mindy is in the process picking out some custom drapes to finish the space. What sort of fabric do you think belongs in this space? A pattern, a solid?
The star of this home is Mindy’s gorgeous custom kitchen.
I love that Mindy isnt afraid of clear glass cabinets, why should you be when you have dishes as adorable as these?
Fancy a cup of tea?
Of course my OCD was drooling when Mindy showed me her pantry, perfectly organized with clear containers and chalkboard labels. A truly organized space.
My favorite spot in the house, hands down! A custom eat in booth, with pull out drawers built in. It doesn’t get much better than this folks.
Who needs bar stools when you can have a booth? Now please excuse me while I pin this to my dream kitchen board.
A big thank you to Mindy for welcoming us into her fabulous home! What was your favorite detail?
